BE-Rural project final outputs and closure

After 40 months, the BE-Rural, a Horizon 2020 project, came to a close. The Final Conference ‘Inspiring regional agendas for inclusive bioeconomies’ was hosted by our Polish regional partner in Frombork situated on the Vistula Lagoon. The objective of the event was not only to look back at the activities and outputs of the project, but also to discuss how the experiences and lessons learned can inform future bioeconomy initiatives and ongoing policy developments in each of the five partner regions and beyond.

Finally, partners and stakeholders interested in delivering regional bioeconomy will remain connected via the BE-Rural Network of Knowledge, which is hosted on a Facebook platform developed by our Romanian partner in Covasna region – “Sustainable Development Goals Network Romania”. Don’t hesitate to join the group if you are interested in exchanging on experiences about, for example, the elaboration process of bio-based business models, the design and implementation of bioeconomy strategies and roadmaps, or the integration of bioeconomy concepts in academic curricula.
