MSIP Innovation Challenge 2

The NICE partner MSIP Dundee has launched its Innovation Challenge 2 on 8 September 2022 with a grant funding call for new models of personal transport and commuting. This call will be closing on 17 November 2022, and the grant support for up to 75% of eligible costs will be available with a minimum grant of £5,000 and maximum of £25,000.

Through this call, MSIP is looking to support companies to test or demonstrate their products, processes, services or business models in Demand Responsive Transport/Mobility as a Service or Electric Vehicle Charging at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc. For this challenge, MSIP is working in partnership with Dundee City Council, The Data Lab and CENSIS to leverage additional benefits into successful projects.

The Innovation Challenge 2 is a swift, secure, and confidential single-stage process to support projects that address The Challenge Theme(s), allowing companies to de-risk their investment, develop new products and processes and grow their businesses.

Successful projects will use MSIP as a location to test and demonstrate innovative products, processes, and services, validate new and disruptive business models, and create employment opportunities. Projects can include new hardware, software, or service technologies as well as projects designed to encourage modal shift. Aligned with the partners innovation objectives, MSIP is also looking for projects with a clear focus on the use of data and data science or the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors.
