NICE Network Makes Strides at CIADEL Meeting with French Industry Giants

Springing from the significant collaboration between the NICE network and Michelin, an exclusive invitation was extended for a project presentation at a gathering of influential French companies actively engaged in corporate social responsibility. The distinguished platform, known as CIADEL, convenes quarterly to address vital topics such as regional job creation, training initiatives, industrial transition, and other pressing matters affecting the French and global business landscape. Among its esteemed members are industry giants such as Michelin, Air France, Airbus, Renault, and SNCF, among others.

Taking place on 25 May 2023, the meeting was held at Michelin Hall 32 in Clermont Ferrand, France. Dr Liliana Fonseca, the project manager of NICE, had the honour of attending and delivering a presentation on the network’s development and future endeavours. The discussions of the day primarily revolved around skill development for employees and the industrial transition towards decarbonisation. To enrich the experience, attendees were treated to an informative guided tour of Michelin Hall 32, where groundbreaking training and innovation activities occur. The visit also included a fascinating exploration of the Michelin Museum, or Aventure Michelin, which recounted the company’s extraordinary journey from its inception to its present achievements.

It is with great anticipation that we look forward to the potential outcomes of NICE’s involvement in this CIADEL meeting and future gatherings. We hope that these connections will pave the way for fruitful collaborations and enhanced partnerships for the NICE network in France.
